Duomart

Despite Duolingo’s popularity keeping users motivated is a struggle. Learners get caught up in daily chores and distractions resulting in them falling out of the habit of doing their lessons. We found that the average person spends 130 hours a year in the supermarket. So what better place for Duolingo to relight its user's motivation?

Introducing Duomart: a language supermarket that will literally leave you speechless. The idea transforms grocery shopping into a language-learning experience by featuring multilingual packaging and in-store signage. As shoppers browse, they naturally interact with the new words – turning a routine task into an immersive learning experience. A surprising reminder of why you downloaded Duolingo in the first place: to communicate better when traveling.
