Ink Carts

I was commissioned to create a fun and vibrant short animation for Ink Carts, a tattoo studio known for doing pop-ups and bringing custom flash tattoos to festival and events. This animation was made to announce and promote their appearance at the Snow Machine Festival in New Zealand, where they’ll be inking festival-goers at the top of a snow mountain for the entire event.

The animation captures the energy and excitement of the festival, featuring a snowboarder as the main character. They ride up the mountain, get a fresh Ink Carts tattoo, and then carve down the slopes, showcasing the music, snowboarding and tattoo culture of the event. With bright colours, playful motion and a fast-paced feel, this animation helps catch people’s attention on social media and generate excitement around the event.
